Cost coverage

For those with statutory insurance:

Here you will find an overview of whether and to what extent your statutory health insurance covers osteopathy.

For privately insured persons:

Please check with your private health insurance provider in advance to see if alternative practitioner services are included in your plan. I bill according to the German Alternative Practitioner Fee Schedule (GebüH) .

Aid

Distinction between federal aid and state aid ( http://www.die-beihilfe.de/vorschriften-zur-beihilfe-in-bund-und-laendern )

I fully meet the requirements for reimbursement from the various aid agencies.

Federal aid

The federal aid has its own reimbursement framework:

State aid

The state aid reimburses my treatments within their specific framework:

Explanation

Privately insured patients are charged a higher fee for the basic medical examination, as unfortunately there is a significantly higher additional cost for invoicing for privately insured patients than for those with statutory insurance.

24-hour rule: A treatment contract is concluded when the patient accepts my general offer to practice medicine as a naturopathic practitioner (also by telephone appointment with subsequent email confirmation of the agreed initial consultation) and contacts me as a naturopathic practitioner for the purpose of consultation, diagnosis, or therapy. Agreed appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. After that, section 4c) of the General Terms and Conditions applies .

Due to the VAT exemption pursuant to Section 4 No. 14a UStG, I do not charge VAT and therefore do not declare it for therapeutic treatments.
